LG X3 Revealed: A Quad Core Ice Cream Sandwich

1/23/2012

It seems that LG doesn't waste any time when it's about competing with the tough players on mobile market. They revealed new X3 that might once again put LG near the top...

Perhaps a taste of what we might expect at MWC in February, the LG X3 seems to be the one of the first to challenge HTC in the quad core market. The quad core processor comes out of Tegra 3 chipset ba Nvidia, and even though it has 4.7 inches 720p screen, they still managed to keep the phone at a slim 9 mm waistline. This smartphone should also have a 2000 mAh battery so it should have enough juice to keep the whole thing going.

Other specifications include 16GB of internal storage, 8 megapixel camera unit on the back and a 1.3 megapixel one on the front, capacitive buttons, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and NFC. Of course, LG X3 should come with the latest Android, Ice Cream Sandwich preinstalled. The price is still unknown but you can expect the handset sometime at the end of Q2 this year.

We are sure that we will have more information about this smartphone as soon as MWC kicks off.
