Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications announced in August that Bert Nordberg will be new president of that company. The official date is 15. October. The Australian manufacturer Kogan launches a new smartphones - Kogan Agora and the Kogan Agora Pro. The front side of smartphone is dominated by a large 2.5 inches TFT-LCD flat touch-sensitive screen, that has the resolution of 320x240 pixels. The Agora and  Agora Pro weighs 130 grams and measures 108mmx64mmx14.8 mm. Battery life is pretty good with a maximum of 400 minutes talktime and 300 hours standby time. The Agora Pro will cost AU$399, and the Agora will be AU$299. Kogan Agora Pro features a 2.0 megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, Easy Web Browsing, Music Player, Instant access to mobile Internet services (Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk, Google Calendar, Google Maps), Wi-Fi network access and integrated support for GPS navigation. The Agora and Agora Pro will be available in Australia in January 2009.

Motorola introduces a new music slider phone -  ROKR EM35. The ROKR EM35 comes with MOTOMUSIC music player that connects directly to Motorola's music store, 3.1 Megapixel camera with digital zoom, Bluetooth, FM radio with RDS, video recording, 110MB of internal memory (expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card), capability and a 3.5mm jack. The front side of the device contains 2.0 inches TFT display with the resolution of 240x320 pixels, that shows 256 thousand colors. Motorola say that the ROKR EM35 will be available during Q4 2008 in black color.
