Finnish company just announced a new - full QWERTY, Multimedia Computer- Nokia N97. The N97 has a 3.5-inch, 16:9 touch-sensitive display with resolution of 360x640 pixels, that shows 16 million colors and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. There is also a proximity sensor for auto turn-off, accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and handwriting recognition.

It has the dimensions of 117.2x55.3x15.9-18.3 mm , and it weights 150 g. N97 has 32GB Gigabytes of internal flash memory which allows the user to store much data and musics on their new handset. Device comes with the Symbian operating v9.4 system complete with S60 software.
It works on a GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and HSDPA 900/1900/2100 newtworks. N97 has a perfectly five megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus and flash. It makes excellent photos. There is also a secondary videocall camera.
The smartphone also has a GPS, Digital compass, Nokia Maps 2.0 Touch, Stereo FM radio with RDS, TV out, 3.5 mm audio output jack, Document viewer, MP3/WMA/WAV/eAAC+ player and MPEG4/WMV/3gp video player.
N97 can be connected to other devices using a WLAN Wi-Fi technology that allows user to wireless connection, 3G HSDPA technology, GPRS, Bluetooth, HSCSD, EDGE and USB. Battery life is pretty good with a maximum of 6 hours and 40 minutes talktime and 430 hours standby time. For messaging, N97 supports SMS (Text Messaging), MMS (Multimedia Messaging), IM (Instant Messaging) Push Email and Email.
