T Mobile G1 Android smartphone

Today, Google and T-Mobile introduced a new 3G phone - G1. T-Mobile G1
is made by HTC who have a long history of making Windows Mobile
devices. G1 is the first handset that uses Android's platform.
The front side of the device is dominated by a beautiful and large 3.2 inches TFT touchscreen with resolution of 240x320 pixels and it shows 65 thousand colors.
The 3G Smartphone can be connected to other devices using the latest mobile technologies as 3G HSDPA technology, GPRS, Bluetooth, EDGE, WLAN Wi-Fi technology that allows user to wireless connection and USB.
The phone is also packed with features as GPS, 3.2 megapixel fixed-focus camera, Digital compass, Document viewer, Java MIDP 2.0, MP3 player and handsfree.
The G1 weighs 158 grams and measures 117 x 55.7 x 17.1 mm.
The phone is set to launch in the US on October 22nd for $179. In Europe.
T-Mobile say that the American versions of G1 will be available on October 22nd for $179, while the European version is expected to be launched during early 2009 in White, Black and Brown colors.
