Nokia 5800 XpressMusic first impression

Yesterday, Finnish company finally Launched a new Nokia 5800 XpressMusic touchscreen phone. The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is the first touchscreen phone coming from the Finnish manufacturer. It has a very elegant and stylish design!

The front side of the device is dominated by a large 3.2 inches TFT touchscreen that shows 16M colors and has the resolution of 360x640 pixels. This large and high colour LCD is ideal for Web browsing. The LCD is a widescreen display with 16:9 aspect ratio.

The phone can be connected to other devices using the latest mobile technologies as 3G HSDPA technology, Bluetooth, GPRS, WLAN Wi-Fi technology that allows user to wireless connection, EDGE or USB which provides high speed data transfer rates.

The smartphone has the dimensions of 111x51.7x15.5 mm and it weights only 109 g.

5800 XpressMusic has a 3.2-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, flash and video and it makes high quality photographs.The pictures are sharp, clear and focused.

This model comes with an Stereo FM radio with RDS. The sound quality of the phone is excellent!

The Model also comes wits Symbian OS 9.5 S60 5th edition and it offers A-GPS, an accelerometer and proximity sensor.There's also a standard 3.5mm audio socket so a standard headphone set can be used.

Only one thing was disappointing us, when we talk about this smartphone... That's memory ... There is only 8GB of memory. Many other phones (iPhone, Nokia N96) already offer 16GB!

The phone is also packed with features as a GPS, Nokia Maps 2.0 Touch, TV out, Document viewer, handsfree, MP3/WMA/WAV/eAAC+ player and MPEG4/WMV/3gp video player.

Nokia say that the 5800 XpressMusic should be available during Q4 2008 in red, blue and black colors.
