Samsung Launched today a new slider and attractive smartphone model - L870. The front side of the device is dominated by a large 2.4 inches TFT screen that shows 16M colors and has the resolution of 240 x 320 pixel.

On the back side, L870 has a 3.15 Megapixel camera  which has the max resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. The pictures taken look very nice and clear. On the front side, there is also a secondary camera for video conferencing.

The Smartphone comes with 100  megabytes of internal user memory. It also supports the Memory Stick for added memory up to 4GB.

The phone is also packed with features as Stereo FM radio with RDS, video player, music player, Quick Office document viewer, Business card recognition and handsfree. The SGH-L870 runs Symbian 9.3 with the S60 3.2 interface.

The phone can be connected to other devices using a GPRS, Bluetooth, EDGE, 3G and USB.

Samsung  say that the L870 will be available in certain regions from August 2008 onwards in Black colour.
