U600 is a new sliding mobile phone from Samsung that delights in many ways.This is a high quality mobile phone that has the dimensions of 106.4x43.6x11.7 mm, and it weights 81 g.

The sliding mechanism is well made, the device is easily opened and closed using one hand, and the possibility of the phone opening by itself is also excepted.

On the outside, it has keys on the upper side of the phone - the function and the key for calls that are blended with the front mask which is quite unique. The function keys are almost invisible until you open the phone and the background light activates them.

The keys are quite sensible and they require some time just to get used to them. The central navigation key is precise, and it can be programed with shortcuts. In the middle of it there is another key for operation conformation or direct access to Internet. On the side of the phone there are keys for volume, photos and slots for the charger, earphones and memory card.

The keyboard isn't classical, it is made out of an unique surface which has the keys drawn on it. Although it isn't precise as the classic keyboard, it doesn't cause a lot of trouble while using it. While writing a message, the text is transmitted a bit slower than usual, but still fast enough.

The phone has an excellentTFT screen with 240x320 pixel resolution which shows  256000 colors and has a 2,2 inch diagonal.

Samsung U600Multimedial possibilities of this phone complement excellently with its business possibilities.

It has a 3.2 megapixel camera with a flashlight and autofocus and the possibility of macro recording during taking of photos or videos with the maximal resolution of 2048x1536 pixels 

U600 has an installed music and video player with support for MP3, ACC, eAAC+ and WMA format reproduction and an FM radio.

It has Java, a few games, TV out and A2DP technology. It has 60MB of internal memory that can be expanded with microSD memory cards. It comes with a set of quality earphones.

Telephoning, is also excellent, and the sound is very good and clear.


It has 2.0 Bluetooth, and it can be connected with the computer using USB cable that comes with the phone.

Some of the other possibilities are a quality Internet support and an e-mail client.

The phone is well equiped with applications like calendar, internal search, dictaphone, photo editor, world time, calculator, converter, countdown, stopwatch, notes and m-card.

It has an inovation called Optimized Power Usage Solution which extends the lasting of the battery.

This is a quite good mobile phone that will surely attract a lot of users with its great possibiulities and functions. It has a very good screen, camera, and business applications.
