K550i is a mobile phone that has great look and a lot of other qualities.It has a great black box color with silver details, and it also has a very good silver-blue background lighting. The keys are attractive, thin and silver, and the box is 14mm thin.

This is a Cyber-shot series model, it has a good photo camera with 2 megapixel resolution and autofocus which gives high quality to photos.

Photographing runs in standard, landscape mode, and the camera is activated by taking off the lid on the back of the phone. It also records videos in QCIF resolution (176x132 pixels).


ERGONOMY

The ergonomy of the phone is high classed. The keys are precise and easy to overcome. While typing the message, the response on the screen is instantaneous, without delays. The device is thin, and has a quality ergonomy.

APPLICATIONS

It has a standard Sony Ericsson software and menu, which enables a number of multimedial, buisiness or network possibilities. Concerning the network possibilities, the phone has all the known connecting ways, except WLAN. Bluetooth connection runs smooth, whether it's a Sony Ericsson or some other device.K550i has infrared and USB, and the computer immediately identifies the phone as an external disc, so that data transfer is quick and simple. Sound quality during calls is excellent.

It also has a classic MP3 player. K550i has an excellent TrackID function that enables recording a part of the song, sending it to the Internet and finding out the name, artist, album or year of publishing of the song. Sound reproduction is good, and a set of earphones come with the device. Besides MP3 player, it has an FM radio, and Java support .

K550i has 64MB of internal memory which can be enlargened by Memory Stick Micro cards. Memory card can be replaced while the phone is running but the back cover has to be removed. The battery is quite good, the phone can be used for about whole three days without recharging it.

K550i looks great and it is a great phone to use during calls, while using the Internet or multimedia. It has excellent sound quality and a quite good camera.
