Sony Ericsson W880i review
Sony Ericsson has made a very good and interesting new mobile phone.
This model is from the Walkman series, and it completely fulfils all
the expectations.The phone comes in two color versions: red and black version and silver
and black version.The device is very thin for Sony Ericsson - only
9,4mm and it is very suitable for holding.  The phone has small, thin keys, and the keyboard looks like it isn't very practical for using but indeed it is. It has big gaps between keys which make writing a very fast process. On the interface, W880i has a number of keys that facilitate its using. Almost everything that's on the side of the phone is directed to multimedia - a key for Walkman activation on the left, and all the keys on the right, like sliding control that is used for volume control or for changing the song. In combination with the four-way navigation key, which can also be used for Walkman control, W880i will become a very good music player. It also comes with a Memory Stick M2 memory card with capacity of 1GB.  W880i works on a standard Sony Ericsson platform with a few specifities. It has a NetFront web browser that can show a page formatted in one column or in the way that it would look on a computer. The phone has a camera that isn't very satisfying. It has2 megapixels and no LED flashlight or a mirror next to the camera for self portraiting. The device holds a number of very good themes. It is also possible to use a really large digital clock that shows time on almost half of the screen. The menus, and stand by screen, are carried out in Flash, which enables users to easily change the user interface. Some of the applications on this model are: Phone Book, Alarm Clock, Stopwatch, Timer, Business Card xchange, Calculator, Calendar, Contacts, File Manager, Flight Mode, Notes, Tasks, Conference Calls and other. It also has TrackID which uses connection to its main server to download data about the songs or records. It is based on the service of Gracenote company. It is a quite useful thing for radio songs recognition. All in all, this is a great mobile phone with an excellent look, and great music abilities. It is a 3G phone that offers excellent and useful applications, has a lot of memory (expandable) and great connectivity. The only flaw of this mobile phone is its price.
