The new W960 model is a sequent from the excellent Sony Ericsson Walkman series. It represents a great mix of a music player, camera, and a phone in one.

DIMENSIONS & DESIGN

Comparing this phone to other phones, the W960 model is a bit bigger and heavier phone. It has the dimensions of 109mm x 55mm x 16mm and it weights 119g. The design of this phone is flawless. W960 has a monoblock form factor, it is all in black color, except the sides, which are white.

The front side is dominated by a 2.6 inch diagonale, TFT touchscreen that shows 282,144 colors and has a 240*320 resolution. Above it, there is a small camera for video calls, and below the screen there is a regular keyboard.

INSIDE

The W960 runs on a Symbian based UIQ 3.0 operating system. It can connect to the Internet using a 3G network or a Wi-Fi access point. The phone can be connected to the PC using a USB 2.0 connector, that enables data transfers up to 1GB every three minutes.

The phone has a very good 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus that makes high quality pictures. It also has 3.2 times digital zoom, photo light, and it enables video recording.
Some of the standard applications on this mobile phone are: alarm clock, calculator, calendar, contacts, document editors, document readers, flight mode, handwriting recognition, notes, phonebook, stopwatch, games and other useful programs.

MUSIC

W960 is a SE Walkman series mobile phone, meaning that its main trump is the music. It has the Media Manager PRO program that is used for organising the media, video and photos. It includes SenseMe program, transfer of music, Imaging and Media feed. W960 has the support for TrackID that has been modified, it is more detailed now. The phone also has an FM radio with RDS.

The sound quality of the phone is excellent, whether you're telephoning or listening to the music. The phone also comes with a very good Stereo Bluetooth Headset.

This is a trully excellent phone, music player and a camera in one. On top of all this, it has unbelievable 8 GB of phone memory, and a battery of 900mAh that can last for about four or five days. All in all, this is an excellent phone that will attract a lot of users.
