The BlackBerry 8800 is a stylish Smartphone which comes with all the relevant Smartphone features a business user could desire. This is a device that is thinner and a bit longer than its forebear, the 8700 model. It has a great design, and a lot of other qualities.

BlackBerry 8800

The 8800 handset comes with a black & metal effect silver finish which measures 114mm in height, 66mm in width & 14mm in depth.

The BlackBerry 8800 weighs 134 grams including the fitted battery & feels solid to hold & operate in the user's hand.

The device contains new operating system version and a very good GPS. It contains the BlackBerry Maps application which is free for using because it downloads maps in the moment in which they are needed.

The Organiser contains Phone Book, Calendar, Wireless Calendar, Alarm, Clock, Memo Pad, Task List , Organiser, Personal Information Management (PIM) Software, Full QWERTY Keyboard, Keyboard Backlight, Document Viewer, GPS Services, BlackBerry Maps, Security Password Protection and Security Keyboard Lock. The battery that comes with the device has the capacity of 1400 mAh and it can last for about three days which is quite good. It enables longer usage of the GPS, e-mail and other applications on 8800.

Another novelty is the stand by mode on Blackberry, which is activated by longer holding the volume key and it deactivates when somebody is calling you, or when you receive an e-mail. It uses Bleutooth, USB, GPRS and EDGE for connecting and works on a Quad Band

The 8800 model is the most attractive BlackBerry model. It has a great design, and a very good upgrade of the classic QWERTY keyboard.technology.
