This is a new mobile phone from Motorola, that could be described as an updated version of the original RAZR. It is called RAZR2 V8 and it brings several changes. It is a nicely designed clamshell phone that has the dimensions of 103x53x11,9 mm and it weights 117g.

The device works on a Linux operating system. It makes the phone work faster, more responsive and it enables multitasking. V8 works in GSM 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 networks, and for connecting it uses micro USB connection and Bluetooth wirelles connection. It also has EDGE support, an e-mail client and a HTML web browser.
The device comes with Windows Media Player 11 for music and video reproduction.
The sound quality of the device is excellent. It uses "Crystal Talk" technology which reduces the background noise and enhances voice clarity while talking to someone.
The Organiser is packed with a standard set of applications like: phonebook, calendar, calculator, converter, clok, alarm, vibration alert, voice memo, games…
Regarding the memory, the phone can be bought in two versions - with 420 MB or 2 GB of internal memory. If you like to listen to music using your mobile phone, the 2GB option would be better for you, because V8 doesn't have the option of expanding the memory - it doesn't have a memory card slot.
The battery can last for about 8 hours of talk time, or for about 11 days in standby.
ADVANTAGES: design, both screens, call quality, battery
SHORTCOMINGS: no memory card slot
