SGH-F300 is an inovative phone with yet unseen design. It combines an Mp3 player and a mobile phone in one. It has the dimensions of 103.5x44x9.4 mm an it weights 78 g.

OUTSIDE

The front side has a small, TFT screen, which shows 262 thousand colors with 176x65 pixels. The small screen is a consequence of a thin phone. The menu icons are located in one row, and the messages can be viewed in only two rows of text. It also has a classical keyboard with numeric and multifunctional keys.

On the side it has a key for changing the function mode. If you want to use the MP3 player, FM radio, camera, photo album or record a note, you have to press the side key and reverse the phone. While in the MP3 mode, the phone can still take calls,  and when it is in normal mode, the MP3 can also function normally.

On the back, it has a screen that is 2,1 inch big and shows 262 thousand colors in 176x220 pixel resolution. The back side doesn't look like an ordinary mobile phone, it doesn't have the ordinary battery lid, it has a big screen, big touch sensitive keys,a 2 megapixel camera with digital zoom and all in all it looks more like an MP3 player.


INSIDE

F300, besides its looks, is well equipped inside too. The phone can be connected to other devices using Bluetooth, A2DP, EDGE or USB. It works on a Tri Band (GSM 900, GSM 1800 & GSM 1900) network, uses WAP 2.0, XHTML, GPRS for connecting to the Internet, and also has an e-mail client.

The Organiser is packed with the standard set of applications like Phone Book, Calendar, To Do List, Scheduler, Clock,  World time,  Alarm, Calculator, Currency Converter  or Call Timer. The phone supports games, but it doesn't contain any.

The camera has a 2 megapixel resolution with a digital zoom. It makes quite good photos, and it also supports video recording.

The phone has 128MB of internal memory. The memory of the phone is expandable with memory cards, and a card of 1GB of capacity comes with the phone.

The phone also comes with a leather bag which contains an extra battery. It has two batteries and it can function without the bag, but in that case, only the integrated battery is available, which has 620 mAh of capacity that can last for about a day. Using the second battery of 900 mAh capacity, the endurance amplifies to three or five days.

This is a very good fashion mobile phone that has an excellent design, that is made in a totally new concept, has an excellent MP3 player and a number of useful applications and functions.
