W610i is an excellent mobile phone with an excellent design, thin metal keys and a slim box. The main trump of this phone is its music side, it has an excellent music player.

OUTSIDE

The device is extremly thin and elegant, and the colors of the box are also excellent, it comes in black and orange.

The sides are orange, the back of the phone, the middle navigation key and the background lighting of the keys also. The box is 14mm thick, and it has silver borders of the keys.

The device lays excellently in hand so that it is easy to use with only one hand. The keys on the keyboard are silver and thin, and although they seem hard to use, they are actually very easy to get used to and very precise.

They are well deployed and accessable. On the sides, it has a key for MP3 player on the left, and volume and camera activation keys on the right.

On the left side it also has a slot for Memory Stick Micro M2 memory card, and battery and earphones slots.

INSIDE

It has a classic Sony Ericsson software and menus. It has EDGE data transfer support, Internet browser, Net Front, E-mail and RSS reader. It connects through USB 2.0, infrared or Bluetooth 2.0 which works very good.

The device has 64MB of internal memory and it is expandable with Memory Stick Micro M2 memory cards up to 2GB, and the phone comes with an extra 512MB memory card.

The camera has two megapixel resolution and autofocus so it makes very good photographs. It has LE diodes that enable photographing in darker places.The camera can record 3GP videos with an also quite good quality.

The device has a lot of functions for all types of users.

It has a push mail client and all of the Internet options and the phone can be synchronised with the computer.

Some of the functions of the phone are Tools, Notes, Calendar, Alarm clock, Countdown, Stopwatch, Calculator and Code memory.

The quality of the sound during phone calls is excellent and so is the battery.

It lasts for about 20 hours of constant music reproduction, and with normal usage of the phone it can last for about three days.

The phone comes with a new Walkman 2.0 player which offers great sound and visual possibilities.

The sound is very good, and it also has an equaliser for adjusting the sound, and Megabass and Stereo options.

It also supports TrackID. The phone comes with very good earphones.

W610i is yet another great music phone from Sony Ericsson with great design, battery, camera with autofocus, MP3 player, EDGE support and a set of  applications, memoy...

A mobile phone that will surely attract a lot of users that want a phone with great applications, and excellent music abilities.
